Advantage Auction Company, LLC d/b/a Advantage.Bid
This page explains how to request deletion of the personal information associated with your Advantage.Bid account. It applies to information you provided directly to Advantage.Bid and to any information shared with Advantage.Bid through a connected Facebook or Instagram account.
How to Request Deletion
- Send an email to privacy@advantage.bid with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Send the request from the email address registered to your Advantage.Bid account, or include that email address in your message so we can locate your records.
- State whether you want your entire account deleted or only specific information removed.
You may also submit the request by mail or telephone using the contact details below.
What Happens Next
- We will confirm that we received your request and may ask you to verify that you own the account before acting on it.
- Once verified, we will delete or de-identify the personal information associated with your account, subject to the exceptions described in our Privacy Policy.
- Records that we are required to keep for legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes, such as completed auction transactions and invoices, may be retained for as long as those obligations apply.
- You will receive a confirmation when the request has been completed.
Facebook and Instagram
Advantage.Bid does not use Facebook or Instagram login to create user accounts. If any information about you was received through Advantage.Bid's Facebook or Instagram integrations, you may request its deletion using the same process above. You can also remove Advantage.Bid's access from within your Facebook or Instagram account settings at any time.
